I had a boarder staying with me in my home who started exhibiting symptoms of either an intestinal blockage or GDV (bloat). I called on my way over to see how to go about payment and authorization from owners on care since they were out of town and they were more than willing to work with me. I didn’t even sit down before they had this sweet boy in the back getting X-rays and it did indeed confirm he was suffering from a major bloat. The staff here were so kind and caring, and Dr. Wolfe did a wonderful job with his surgery. Sitka’s owners are on the way back to Mobile and I know he will have many more incredible years to live his life thanks to the wonderful, hard-working staff at MedVet.

Medvet took exceptional care of my Tucker, Dr Wolfe, was very informative and kept me up to date on his care as well as her assistant was amazing! We were there late Tuesday night and they did everything they could to help my baby. I will never forget the kind, compassionate care that was given to my beloved pet as well as to my husband and I. I was extremely against going to Mobile for them to see my pet they knew nothing about, but after we got there I was more than impressed how they were on point from the time we walked in until we left. Definitely made us feel like family, so if you are having a medical emergency with your pet after hours don’t hesitate your beloved pet will be in outstanding care.

When we got to MedVet in Mobile I was really apprehensive on taking my baby there because we'd never been there and we have never been to a vet ER so I really wasn't sure what to expect but from the time we got there to the time we left they took exceptional care of my Maggie and they made her feel better and they made me and my husband feel better knowing that they took care of our baby because we couldn't get into her vet it's really comforting to know that there is a vet ER that really looks after fur babies and makes the owners feel comfortable and knowing that not being able to get into her veterinarian doctor's office you can take your baby into the ER it's really comforting especially when they get sick and you don't know what's wrong with them.

We took our sweet kitten Sophie in who was having a severe allergic reaction to a vaccine she received the day prior. They took amazing care of her, kept us updated and made us feel very comfortable in such a scary moment. The vet did a fantastic job and listened to all of our concerns as well as the tech. Both were amazing!! She is back healthy and happy again! 10/10 recommend going here!!

My baby King was on palliative care for a few months and hadn’t been eating for 2 days. I decided to take him in due to this and him being lethargic and with heavy breathing for the whole day. I took him in on a Saturday night about 8pm. Based on his condition and symptoms upon arrival he was brought straight to the back. A little later a nurse informed me of what the doctor noted and told me that a doctor would talk to me. I was told by the doctor that my baby had a mass on his spleen after diagnostic testing, which was included in the ER pricing and was given my options. I was shown the testing and everything was explained to me. I asked questions which were answered. Based on his age and overall condition I made the hard decision to euthanize him. I was given the opportunity to spend time with him in a comfortable room before the procedure which only took minutes. Although this was a traumatizing event, the entire staff was considerate and helpful. The cost was appropriate for the service provide in my opinion. I want to thank them for their consideration and patience during this time. I appreciate it.

Our beloved dog, Vito, was viscously attacked by our neighbor's dog on Thursday, December 11th at 5:26pm. The viscous attack left him with his right eye ball 80% out of the eye socket, as well as facial bites and open cuts that would need stitches.

Our 7 month old Cavapoo is part monkey, wookie and jet pilot. When he jumps, he does this escape gravity hang time trick. Well wouldn’t you know, he crashed and hurt his leg. After hours. Lucky for us we met the ladies at MedVet who care. They assisted us diagnosing his leg and assured us that nothing serious happened. Kennel rest for 2 weeks with little as possible activity to help his leg heal. Dr. Harmon who drives in from Auburn gave us the great news after conferring with a radiologist and a surgeon who was on staff. I think our puppy did untold damage there melting their hearts. Hopefully they can get well soon. This is a great place when your pet needs professional help quickly. I recommend them highly. Friendly, helpful and professional people that care.
